A little about Allan

Allan Houston has been dancing since 1980 and was Scottish Champion 4 times as well as claiming every other major honour in the country at that time.

Allan represented Scotland at the World Rock 'n' Roll Championships in 1989 with his partner at the time having qualified by being runners up in the UK Championships the same year.

Allan spent a number of years doing cabaret work all over the UK and Ireland and was one of the founder members of a team known as The 'Wreckin' Crew. He also appeared on television and danced at several sporting events with the Lindella Dance Team.
Allan passed his Rock 'n' Roll Membership exam in 1992 and also passed Latin American Membership and Freestyle Associate exams at that time. He has now passed his Fellowship exam in 2011.

Allan has taught all over Scotland for many different dance teachers but most famously with his mother Betty Allan in the world famous Lindella Club in Glasgow.

A little about Brenda

Brenda has also grown up with dancing, her parents were taught by Allan’s mum, Betty Allan, and Brenda always wanted to follow in their footsteps.

Brenda has been part of the Rock’n’Roll Revolution team since 2014 and is responsible for organising all the displays and events that we are involved in.  She introduces new members to the class and takes them through the beginner’s lessons and their first routine.

Brenda passed her Rock 'n' Roll Associate exam June 2019.
